Funny I was just laying on the couch looking up at the lights while using my phone I zoomed in on them. Had it set on auto and touch focused different areas to get what I want.

This was my settings 15.9MP 5312 × 2988 131 KB f/1.8 1/2000 4.42mm ISO50 next time I may try using a tripod to see if I can get a better shot zooming in a little closer but it would probably get more grainy

I have not tried a telephoto lens over the phone cam lens yet.I may get one some day.
