Fascinating bird and interesting captures. Seems like a difficult species to photograph. I like the detail in the shaded regions and I find the halo effect on the head and edges very appealing.

The first bird is a beautiful male Rose-breasted Grosbeak. The second shot is an American Robin. Then Canada Geese, a Barn Swallow on nest, some European Starlings (invasive species, introduced from Europe),
