RE: This Video Was Demonitized by Youtube!?!?
We had a similar problem when we uploaded our video about when we took off the osb on our roof. We had "stripped" in the title, which is probably why. Then we changed it to "ripped off"

I never knew that about the cows being bred to have smaller teat sizes for the machines. Very interesting. Great information!

RE: Hello Steemit & Steemit Homesteaders! We are MiniSteading :)
Yep, we are still at the same place. We are currently working hard every day on our house getting it ready to sell so we can buy a property in the country. That is our major goal right now. It was super

RE: My $5,000 Homestead - Picture Tour on Day 1
Let's just say the guy who lived there wasn't a minimalist, lol! And I literally laughed out loud when I read this part: "They did leave me some food, that was nice. (sarcasm)". Great post. Loved

RE: 10 Reasons Why We Homeschool
Middle school is where it all went downhill for me, socially speaking. What subjects did you both teach?

RE: 10 Reasons Why We Homeschool
Yes, more people should start homeschooling, and more states need to become more lenient and not make it a hassle to homeschool. Luckily we live in Indiana where it's a piece of cake...no notices, no testing

Yep, totally unnatural setting that has somehow fooled most people into thinking it is necessary and great. Luckily more and more families are deciding to homeschool these days.

I agree with you about the public school system. Basically it's a 13 year training facility so that when students graduate and get jobs, they take orders willingly and don't have a free mind. I wanted

RE: Should I tell my kids to vaccinate or not?
Please, do not vaccinate. Vaccinations cause all kinds of sick problems in kids like ADHD, autism, and asthma. I would not be happy if I had to raise a child who got autism from getting a vaccine, that's

We haven't really had many opportunities to take vacations (too expensive)- just went to Florida once in winter 2011. It was beautiful and so memorable -first time I ever saw palm trees in real life. :)

ewkaw, I think you are mistaking selective breeding with GMO's...there is a huge difference and they are nothing alike. Selective breeding is taking the seeds from a plant that has qualities you are looking

RE: Why I Cloth Diaper and How Easy It Is!
That's a great point - using the tri-folds as the extra insert. It's amazing how sturdy cloth diapers are considering just how many times they are washed!
