As I tried to predict in my last post [crypto is effectively in hot waters](https://hive.blog/leofinance/@onlydoge/crypto-world-is-heading-to-trouble-waters-hang-on) ... crypto world is still shaking ... Bitcoin has [plunged by 13%](https://coinmarketcap.com/fr/currencies/bitcoin/) on last week provoking an other bloodbath in crypto world ... Followed with [Ethereum plugging by 17.6%](https://coinmarketcap.com/fr/currencies/ethereum/) and with all others crypto (BNB, XRP, MATIC, etc...).
Remarkabely [Dogecoin plugged only by 6%](https://coinmarketcap.com/fr/currencies/dogecoin/) on last week ...
Unfortunately our [HIVE coin has suffered a hit with plugging by 11%](https://coinmarketcap.com/fr/currencies/hive-blockchain/). Hive Backed Dollar is still not properly stabilized doing [variation between +10% / -10%](https://coinmarketcap.com/fr/currencies/hive-dollar/) on last hours when writing this article. Also I notice a significant slow (in volume) on Hive Engine trades on last few days ? But I don't have statistics about it, just an observation.
So news are still not very optimistics, energy crisis is still impacting the crypto world, big legal inquiries are still in course ... So a lots of new/old threats are still looming in crypto world.

Today, it is the turn to Hive with a spike from 0.55$ to 0.95$ (+72%) and stabilize at 0.77$ (+40%) at the time of writing this article :

Frankly, I have been really scared by this news because yes it's a great news for us HIVE hodlers but all tokens I got were then crashing. I hope it's not a silly pump & dump but it could be 🤷🏻♂️

So 17 hours ago, a shaky news happened, HIVE backed dollar (a so called token "backed dollar") has jumped to +242% (from 0.91$ to 3.08$) before dropping back to +32% at the time of writing this poll.
I don't think the dollar (real USD) has jumped of 242% right ? 🤔

Personally, I'm not a financial advisor at all but I would say a big no and a little yes ...
**No,** because I think HBD (Hive Backed Dollar) needs to be renamed to something else because honestly nothing can be backed by dollar (except if you publish the accounting in real time to prove it). I think it should take the same way as all so called **stable assets** (LUNA, USDT, etc...)
**Yes,** because it boosts the global amount of HBD hodlers as you can check on Hive Engine, HBD is now more traded than all famous crypot (BTC, ETH, ...) :

So yes, we are all liking HIVE ... else we wouldn't be there ... so HIVE is among our best crypto ☝🏻 ... But HIVE market cap (hundreds of millions) is very little comparing to the global crypto market (thousands of billions) ... So if a tornado occurs, hangs on !
Let's give our personal point of view ... I'm not an investor at all ... So what we have left ?

Personally, I don't believe at all in self proclaimed stable coins. Maybe I will give a try to CBDC, but stable coins is something like web 3.0. The only thing that they have of stable is their words ... And some of major ones are really in troubles these days.
So ...
We have Ethereum with the soon coming and promised "Merge" release ... Which concretely means moving from POW (mining) to POS concept (no more mining). A bit in trouble on last 2 months (following the BTC move).

We have Bitcoin the King 👑 which remains the proclaimed King, but looks a bit in trouble on last 2 months (and brings down globally all crypto currencies in its way). Moreover with the Tesla today's selloff announcement.

## Crypto Quiz Introduction
So I don't know what is the global mood, even if I have some thoughts, this quiz aims to clarify the **global mood**.
Personally I feel really bored since now few months ... There isn't anymore Action since the last crash which happened around mid-May ... Only some silly pumps and dumps here and there.
Hopefully my two best preferred cryptocurrencies (i.e: HIVE and DOGE) are well performing comparing to the others ones .... Yes, they crashed on mid-May, but they are very stable since that date which is quite a good result in my opinion.
Also, I see some optimistic move on prices specifically for ETH and MATIC but I don't think they are really significative ... All crypto currencies are waiting to follow the BTC move ...
When I check the news ... I don't see any major announcement coming or any exciting news ... Exchanges are still fighting to survive and are facing big threats ... Governements are strenghtening their laws around crypto currencies ... Big scams are finally falling but lots of new ones are already performing ...

### Good morning dear Hive community ! I hope you EVERYONE is enjoying its week end !
Several news have happened on last weeks, some are bad and some are goods. Personaly, I'm supporting Dogecoin since more than a year and Hive since few months, because their developers are constantly developing new and effective services for their people. I think Dogecoin can succeed mostly thanks to its community. But it's like a football match! so I understand people prefering to support Bitcoin or Ethereum values :)
Let's dig a bit on each major news of each of these crypto currencies.
# Crypto News
Globally, regarding governements, they are intensifying their threats on cryptocurrencies claiming they want to control each transactions and that they want to ban cryptocurrencies which are too energy consuming (so probably ALL of them).
## Ethereum
### Switching to PoS
As you may already know, Ethereum has changed its mining algorithm in favor of Proof of Stack ... In fact there won't be anymore mining on this blockchain, people will just reserve/stack an amount of Ethereum to be part the block validators.
This major improvement is not fully deployed/adopted yet, but development are done and currently tested to be fully deployed this spring.
This is a huge news because energy cost is the main "concern" of goverments. So it's a great improvement, even if this concern is not the real government reasons for not adopting crypto. Such improvement could put Ethereum as the prefered governements crypto currency :D

### Still huge fees
Previous improvement won't be deployed and adopted before end of 2022, and it will not resolve Ethereum transactions fees which are too high ... and burning tokens will just accelerate their rise.

### Vitalik more and more concerns
I like a lot Vitalik, the Ethereum creator, he is brillant, fun, generous and nice. He has contributed to one of our major change in our era, he has made so many donations, etc...
In my opinion, he is THE main powerful asset of Ethereum, driving and deciding all major improvement of Ethereum blockchain. So unfortunately, he is also the main threat to its success because if he steps down things can really change as I don't see any major influencer who could spread the same aura.
Recently several news have more and more claimed that :
- he was criticizing the Ethereum community greediness
- he was diminishing his influence on Ethereum
## Bitcoin News
### Still the King
Bitcoin is the King of cryptocurrencies, when it falls it drives all others cryptocurrencies with it. So everyone must be careful. Current price is 39K$, which means the same price it was at start of year 2021 and some are thinking it could go down on following weeks. But who knows what will happen ! I like the Vitalik analyzis of Bitcoin maxi :)

### Still huge energy wasted
Our world is facing a major energy crisis and Bitcoin is still consuming dirty and costly power for its mining. Still less than 1% of mining is done with renewable energies...
### Community is dividing
I don't know if it is good or not but recently some influencer of Bitcoin community have started to raise concern about energy cost and showed favor in proof of stake. I wonder if Bitcoin developers will be as good as Ethereum ones (and it should took them at least 2 years to the later one).

I won't speak about SWAP tokens, they are very interesting, but they are also very well known (so hard concurency in bids). Also, they are mainly used as a store of value and can be used to move out/in funds to [Hive-Engine](https://hive-engine.com/tokens) exchanges. So finaly, difficult and not very fun at all on Hive-Engine trading !
### Gaming tokens
