Esta frase la hemos oído muchísimas veces pero, ¿qué tan cierta es?. Después de analizarla desde distintas perspectivas, estudiando al primer sujeto de la frase: "el humano" (yo mismo), puedo asegurar que es totalmente cierta, me he equivocado muchas veces y estoy propenso a hacerlo de nuevo, de hecho creería que a usted le sucede igual y, ¿por qué no? a la humanidad entera. Y sí esto le sucede a la humanidad entera, entonces de seguro hay mucha gente errada en todos lados, y algunos no están siendo conscientes de ello aún, ¿sí o no? >To err is human, but it is wise to rectify; we have heard this phrase many times, but how true is it? Hay una guerra que va más allá de las fronteras, algo bien pensado y que si no somos conscientes, estaríamos jugando en el equipo equivocado. A veces, ser ignorantes acerca de un tema puede hacernos cómplices e incluso víctimas de algo que no conocemos. Pero solo basta con preguntarnos algo para obtener las respuestas, pues tenemos acceso a fuentes de información las 24 horas del día, en otras palabras, el que ignora algo es porque así lo desea. Vivimos en la era del apogeo de la tecnología, y aún falta mucho más que quizás no alcancemos a ver mientras estemos en este plano existencial, pero sabiendo que la tecnología es creada por los humanos, es preciso resaltar que estamos propensos a errar constantemente. >There is a war that goes beyond borders, something that is well thought out and if we are not aware of it, we would be playing on the wrong team. La tecnología ha sido creada desde la idea de mejorar nuestra calidad de vida, siendo usada en medicina, telecomunicaciones, educación, transporte, entre otros sectores de la sociedad como una aliada en nuestro día a día. Con el paso del tiempo, nos hemos vuelto uno con ella y muchas de nuestras tareas se ven influenciadas parcial o totalmente por el uso de la tecnología, por ejemplo: la comunicación, en ocasiones es casi obligatorio recurrir al uso de redes sociales para poder contactar a otra persona, ya sea por la distancia, el tiempo, comodidad, preferencia, etc. >Technology has been created from the idea of improving our quality of life, being used in medicine, telecommunications, education, transportation, among other sectors of society as an ally in our daily lives. La cuestión es que no se nos ha ofrecido una buena educación en cuanto al uso de la tecnología, de hecho este tema se toma muy a la ligera. Desde mi experiencia, debo confesar, que empecé a usar redes sociales porque era divertido y podía conocer nuevas personas, pero tenía poca o nula información acerca de como cuidar mis datos, o a donde quedaban estos almacenados. Hasta hace poco no me había preocupado mucho por este tema, todo empezó hace aproximadamente 6 meses, leyendo un libro que me inspiró a escribir este artículo, pero no me había tomado el tiempo de expresarlo y/o plasmarlo. La empresa GlobalWebIndex, una empresa que se dedica a hacer investigaciones de mercado, en un estudio realizado en el 2020, revela que el usuario promedio pasa 2 horas y 16 minutos cada día en plataformas de redes sociales, aunque para muchos de nosotros quizás la cifra sea pequeña en comparación con el tiempo que pasamos navegando. De seguro, la mayoría de "usuarios promedio" no hacen un uso consciente de las redes sociales y están regalando sus datos sin que esto les cause algún tipo de preocupación o incertidumbre. Hace unos meses, en una ceremonia de hongos sagrados que tuve en casa con mi compañero Carlos, tuve un proceso bastante interesante, en el que veía que la lejana realidad que les describí en los párrafos anteriores estaba sucediendo en este instante, veía a las personas sumergidas en algo que en ese momento identifiqué como "el sueño de la tecnología". Los hongos, en su lenguaje, me alertaban sobre el hecho de que esta le "hacía" algo a los humanos que los mantenía dormidos y fáciles de manipular. Durante el proceso, pude visualizarme a mí y a otras personas bastante entretenidos en aparatos tecnológicos, como dormidos. Gente guiada por tendencias basura, gente apoyando movimientos extremistas, gente controlada en masa por cualquier idea planteada y/o sobre explotada en internet. Veía como ciertos temas que se hacían virales eran controlados por mentes que entendían el funcionamiento de estos algoritmos y podían sacarle el mayor provecho, logrando hacer *engagement* muy fácil con las personas pues es mucho el conocimiento que ya se posee sobre la mente humana. **Despierta y ayuda a otros hacerlo**, era uno de los pensamientos que más invadían mi mente durante ese proceso, no me podía quedar de brazos cruzados ante tal cosa, una guerra silenciosa donde los datos son tan valiosos como el oro, y donde el trofeo más preciado es la mente humana. Por eso decidí empezar por mí mismo, una especie de campaña para conscientizar e introducir a mis familiares, amigos y conocidos (y a todo el que desee), la protección de los datos y la tecnología descentralizada. **¡Hay que hacer algo!** No podemos ignorar todo y guardar todo el conocimiento que hemos obtenido, como si alguien fuera a robarlo. **¡Hay que compartir!** porque entonces no sirve de nada el conocimiento, hay que ayudar a otros, hay que educarles respecto al uso de la tecnología y empoderarlos, que no sientan miedo a aprender algo nuevo sino un compromiso. >**Wake up and help others to do it**, was one of the thoughts that most invaded my mind during that process, I could not sit idly against this issue, a silent war where data is as valuable as gold, and where the most desired trophy is the human mind. En realidad, con todo esto que te he dicho, no busco convencerte de nada, solo quería hacerte pensar o imaginar un poco, hacerte viajar conmigo. Después de todo, en este vasto multiverso no hay nada cierto o falso, toda verdad es una media verdad, los opuestos son idénticos en naturaleza (El principio de polaridad), Pero si crees en estas cosas y puedes ver la importancia de esto, quiero pedirte que acciones, esto es tarea de todos. No todo está perdido, aún hay mucho que se puede hacer, el autor del libro que les recomendé, en la última lección que expone, habla sobre la meditación como la salvación a todo el problema del control mental, y no podía estar más acertado, a través de la meditación, el ser humano puede observarse y estudiarse para conocerse mejor. De igual manera, mediante el uso ritual, responsable y respetuoso de plantas de los dioses, he llegado a estados de meditación en los que he podido observar mi propio pensamiento como algo ajeno, pudiendo analizar y localizar todas las reacciones bioquímicas ligadas a mis sentimientos, teniendo un mejor control de mí mismo y logrando una mayor fluidez al expresarme con una sintaxis que me sorprende. >Not all is lost, there is still a lot that we can do, the author of the book that I recommended to you, in the last lesson exposed, he talks about meditation as the salvation to the whole problem of mind control, and it could not be more right, through meditation, the human being can observe and study his own mind in order to know himself better.
