RE: Steemit should have an ambassador. What about Julian Assange?
He would be an exciting choice for a spokesperson that's for sure.

RE: Moss & Stone
Looks like some pasture a long time ago, or maybe the stone wall to an abandoned house? Either way, these fieldstone walls took a long time to make, but will remain for a long time as well.

RE: TreeTuesday: The Tree of Life
The willow tree always reminds me of water because of how it grows in wet environments, or mysteriousness because of how its drooping branches and leaves make almost a shroud or veil around the tree.

RE: Tree Tuesday - Teddy Roosevelt's Thoughts on the Importance of Trees
Trees are the protective skin of our planet, they balance the climate and prevent erosion while providing us all oxygen to breathe. Without them our planet would feel naked for sure. Also great photo,

RE: Edible finds - Citrus fruits
Most citrus are zone 9 or 10, but if you want to experiment I would say try growing a hardier citrus (kumquat, key lime, that sort of thing) against a south-facing wall. That will allow it to store up

I think your 2 lovely trees might be Japanese white pine, a very picturesque species. Great for bonsai.

Canada, but this plant should be able to grow anywhere that has a temperate climate.

Haha, what a confident fellow. I'm guessing this is taken in Europe? There, it's the Eurasian Red squirrel that predominates. You can tell by its perky ears, and orange colour. Seems like he was pleased

RE: Garden tour - Food crops
I can't recommend anything easier to grow than blackberries. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised how little work is required to get a load of tasty berries every season.

RE: Trees of Canada - American Chestnut
Thanks for your great reply. I think that you should keep those chestnut seeds and try to plant them! Out west there is no blight to speak of and several American chestnuts have survived hundreds of years.

Strictly speaking, they are spruce cones! They always grow nearest the top of the tree. Have a good day, upvoted!
