Updating my Calorie Tracker app using Opencode and SDD
Trying to learn a new skill can be hard, having a goal in mind helps me move forward though. Using AI to accelerate my development has me more motivated to create than I have been in a very long time.

The Daihatsu Copen Scuttle: A Story of "Surgical" Repair and Engineering Spite
They say the Daihatsu Copen is a marvel of Japanese "Kei" car engineering. What they don't tell you is that it was designed by a team of engineers who clearly harbored a deep, personal vendetta

Prompted an AI for a 1971 Buick Riviera Boat Tail. Got... something else. 🚗💭
I noticed the AI button (section?) here on PeakD and thought I would give it a go. What I wanted was a photo-realistic shot from the left rear quarter — deep burgundy, chrome glowing, beach backdrop with

The Scales of Time are Tipping Against Me
They say the camera doesn't lie, but for me, it was the mirror—or rather, a specific shirt. I recently caught a glimpse of my side profile while getting dressed, and let’s just say my stomach was making

Polishing up the paint on my 1971 Chevrolet El Camino
Took some time this past Monday to cut back on the old paint a bit. The difference is amazing and I had not realised just how dull the paint had become, it's now quite a shade darker!

3D printing with high temp filament
Finally had a good reason to buy some high temp filament for my 3D printer. The plastic/fibre bushing that sits between the intake and the carburetor on the little Yamaha was broken badly enough that the

With everything having a generous, dry coat of paint, I put seam sealer along all the edges that needed it, similar to how the factory had it. I also cut out the rust on the door frame just under the scuttle,

Spurred on by the feeling of accomplishment of finishing up the left hand side door frame I moved to the right hand side, starting with the scuttle. From the outset I could tell there would be more rust,

After quite a long time, my last post was in May, I got to closing up the scuttle panel in December of 2024. I made use of plastic tile levellers to hold the piece I had cut out ages ago in place. While
