Great post. I grew up in a very strict religious household. Christian values was my foundation. I, like you, rebelled from everything I was taught. Throughout my teens and twenties I rejected Christianity.

I've had 3 more children since and they have never received any sort of vaccination or any other unnecessary preventative medication.

It is because of this we no longer trust the medical professional field. That's not to say I won't ever use them but when it come to preventative medicine, I will trust my own instincts
