As we have stated already, duplicate content has been on Whaleshares before steem2wls - we just make cross-posting more convenient than using masdacs or doing it manually. Any negative SEO consequences

That's your decision, we don't mind having a free BTS account - there are several Bitshares-based tokens that you can earn in competitions on Steem and Whaleshares so having a BTS account makes sense sooner
