Good day to everyone of us here, my name is Joy Chimere and today I am going to write about my day, okay it is about how I get to spend my easter sunday, follow me on this little memory trip let's walk together.

When I woke up, I prepared my kids while my husband also did his own preparation so we could go to church. I did small breakfast of bread with tea for the family and we all ate and when we were done, we all went to church. Easter sunday is one Sunday my family do not joke with so I myself personally can't joke with that, we all went there and was blessed in the presence of the Lord.

The church service was awesome, I shared testimony and thanked God for the life of my own family especially my kids and above all sending His own begotten Son to come and die on the cross for someone like me, it was worth the Thanksgiving. After the Thanksgiving session was over, the pastor came in and admonished us on the "efficacy of Easter" it was one of the best yet most powerful message I have heard in a while.

After the church service was over, we were all asked to walk like that so that we can go see the ongoing church building construction. So we all went there in one accord and to sum it up, money has been spent on this project and the engineer is doing a nice Job, atleast I can attest to that, seeing the kind of structure he has been able to raise, we applauded him and then we all prayed and went back home.

When we arrived home, we were all tired so I made sure my kids took their bath and had their lunch, it was more of a brunch because it wasn't something heavy. After they finished eating, I swung into cooking, I promised my kids to make them white rice with salad and stew and that was exactly what I was going to do for them.

My husband had gone out to go and open the shop, so I was left alone with the kids at home, with the help of my kids, I was a ble to finish cooking before 4pm and when I finished, I dished some and gave it to my neighbors as part of Easter celebration and then dished some and took it to my husband while my kids had the rest. I added banana to it so they will enjoy the more.

When my kids finished eating, I asked them to bath again as I will be taking them out to go have some fun at the children's playground at the mall, they least expected it and they were so happy, when they finished dressing up, I took them down there and they had so much fun together even with other kids, I ddnt get to snap other kids as I ddnt know how their parents might feel about it.

I allowed them enjoy themselves while I grabbed yoghurt and stayed with other parents at the parents rest zone and when my son was tired, he came up to me and sat with me, I saw how tired he was and called his sister and signaled her to come so that we could go back home.

When we got back home, my husband was already home and he warmed the food for us, we ate it and then had our baths and then went on to go to bed, before I went to bed, I decided to share the "the joy of motherhood" here in Hive then after that I slept off and that was just another easter sunday to remember.
