Que tal, Music Zone. Es interesante estar en el lugar correcto en el momento correcto y así me siento formando parte de un gran proyecto de jóvenes artistas de mi ciudad Cumaná. Lo irónico de la vida es que a quien llamé para ser el guitarrista de mi banda ahora la vuelta de la ruleta nos pone en el firme camino de ser el bajista de su proyecto y en estas últimas semanas poco a poco ha concretado lo que es el proyecto “Casa en alquiler” con banda. Hoy quiero compartirles un tema de “Casa en alquiler” que lleva por nombre “Tienes que irte” en un género muy fuera de mi zona de confort, pero es lo que lo hace más interesante, hacer una bachata es una forma muy rebelde de tocar por primera vez este género, ya que no solo es que este tocando el tema, es que he creado la línea de bajo. Así que para esta semana en el Hive Music Festival, quiero compartir esta canción.

Hey, Music Zone. It's interesting to be in the right place at the right time, and that's how I feel being part of a great project with young artists from my city, Cumaná. The irony of life is that the person I called to be the guitarist in my band is now, as luck would have it, on the firm path to being the bassist in his project, and in recent weeks he has gradually finalized what the “Casa en alquiler” project with a band will be. Today I want to share with you a song from “Casa en alquiler” called “Tienes que irte” (You Have to Leave), which is in a genre that is very outside my comfort zone, but that's what makes it more interesting. Playing bachata is a very rebellious way to play this genre for the first time, because not only am I playing the song, I also created the bass line. So, for this week's Hive Music Festival, I want to share this song.
