Mi nombre, mi nombre siempre ha sido cosa seria, dice mi padre que en medio de un documental se le ocurrió. Soy Yhanning-Liw. Basta con decir que en Cuba mi nombre no es del todo recordado con facilidad. Tengo 20 años, mi físico no me acompaña, muchos oficiales aún piden mi identificación si decido entrar a algún lugar para adultos. >My name, my name has always been a serious thing, my father says that it occurred to him in the middle of a documentary. No es sencillo, desvelarse aprendiendo cada órgano del cuerpo, como funciona y sus detalles. Tratar con cada paciente sea quien sea, las horas de guardia y el peligro constante de contagiarte de absolutamente cualquier virus o bacteria en el mundo. Pero el agradecimiento y amor que resivo de mis pacientes es y será motivo de esfuerzo diario. >Study medicine and although in the past it was not my dream career, today I can say with complete certainty that I love medicine like I love singing (I'll talk about that later). It is not easy to stay awake learning each organ of the body, how it works and its details. Dealing with each patient no matter who they are, the hours on call and the constant danger of catching absolutely any virus or bacteria in the world. But the gratitude and love that I receive from my patients is and will be a reason for daily effort.

Vivo de ella y no por escucharla, cantarla, sentirla y que las manos me tiemblen sujetando el micrófono. Cada canción se vuelve parte de mi historia y cada persona que me escucha se lleva un trozo de mi alma. Sobrevivo con cada nota, cada desafino. >Music is my frustrated dream. They say I sing with melancholy. I live from it and not by listening to it, singing it, feeling it and having my hands shake holding the microphone. Each song becomes part of my story and each person who listens to me takes a piece of my soul. I survive with every note, every out of tune.

Amo la danza del viento, amo la fragilidad de una hoja y las patitas de un perro. Amo el amor y la vida misma. Inspiro café y expiro la calidez de un abrazo. Amo el dulce y lo salado, odio lo amargo y casi soporto lo ácido. Respiro fantasía y lloro frustraciones. No soy poeta, apenas escribo prosas pero tengo una debilidad por alguien que escribe canciones. >I love the evening, my Havana and books. I love the dance of the wind, I love the fragility of a leaf and the little paws of a dog. I love love and life itself. I inhale coffee and exhale the warmth of a hug. I love sweet and salty, I hate bitter and I can almost tolerate sour. I breathe fantasy and cry frustrations. I'm not a poet, I barely write prose but I have a soft spot for someone who writes songs.
