Hello Steemian, This is a witness log that will give community brief update about latest changes on projects and witness infrastructure, contributed by me. ***Summary:*** Witness nodes are stable and producing blocks as usual, considering some parameter updates due to recent price jump, SteemAdvent 2017 was a blast, Pick - new tool to choose winner for contest from comments, eSteem 2017 and 2018 outlook.

***In-depth*** * Witness `good-karma` continue producing blocks. Witness parameters are unchanged for now, APR set to 0%, price feed bias 0%, registration fee is lowered to 0.2 STEEM. If Steem price consolidates in higher ranges, I will be lowering it even further. * SteemAdvent 2017 is concluded recently and **~7510 STEEM** was powered up to fellow Steemians. With current market price ($8) it is around $60,000... * While choosing winners from ever growing SteemAdvent participants, I have created simple tool [Pick](https://steemit.com/pick/@good-karma/introducing-pick-1318f9f21506e) to help fair choose of winners.
