I can't do a A1c at home, and my doctor is on vacation (again!), so I am limited in how I can check my progress objectively. I have ketostix but honestly I don't trust them as much as my internal awareness. So in the morning I will compare my weight. I'm only going to list it as a percentage of my highest weight. I don't imagine I have lost much already, but it's time that I should start losing. I'm happy with 1% of my weight per week to begin with, since weight loss is not really my goal.
If my doctor comes back on time I should have more data to work with soon.
But I'm falling asleep at the keyboard right now so I'm going to try to get to bed. Usually that's enough to wake me right up, but I have to try.
