Hi guys!
Wednesday dawned cold and super windy! Just driving down the road to work became a challenge on how to keep the car in the lane you were supposed to be driving in. As I arrived at the post office to pick up the clinic mail, I hear a cacophony of geese flying overhead. They were headed northeast, but the high winds were playing havoc with them! They were actually headed southeast as the wind was blowing them as they diligently struggled to fly northeast! It was chaos! I watched them tumble and almost fly in circles as if they were trying to get a bead on the direction they wanted to go. I’m betting they were pretty tired when they finally got there!
Work was busy, but not as busy as I originally thought it might be. We had a couple of cancellation/reschedules, so it was passable. I was able to get all the orders that required hardware, so that was good.
The wind was just as strong coming home as going to work, if not more so! Given the wind, I had decided that I was not going to go country road hiking as combined cold and wind are not conducive to my wanting to stay outside longer than necessary! Fortunately, Mike had the same idea. I have to admit it might be easier to deal with those conditions in the daylight while hiking, but darkness gives you a whole new perspective.
I’m tired now and ready to head for bed. We got up extra early today, so it is time for bed. HAPPY THANKSGIVING to all my US buds who celebrate the day!
This is my son's kitty. He said he stayed in that same position for over 10 minutes-no movement! Pyro kitty!
Thanks for stopping by! Don’t forget to keep on steppin’! Any exercise is good for you, so keep at it. Have a wonderful day wherever you are!
