Hi guys!
Today began with preparation for the worship service at church. We arrived and got set up and practiced and then waited until the appropriate start time. The service was good, the sermon good, and the potluck and fellowship afterwards was good. It was good all the way around!
We came home after stopping at the local grocery for a couple of items one of which was egg nog. The grocery was out. So on the way home, we stopped at a gas station with a convenient store inside and there was one half gallon left on the shelf. I grabbed it, and I’m betting it was one of the last in Everson - period! We must have a lot of egg nog lushes around here, lol!
Some pictures of frosty leaves from our hike the other day. It's hard to take pictures in the dark, lol!
We came home to get a coffee and unwind a bit before we headed out for a hike. Unfortunately, it was close to dark by the time we got out the door, so it was country road hiking for sure. I was fine with that as I had gotten quite a few steps at church in the morning, so I just wanted to break through the 10,000 step count mark.
Afterward, I worked a little bit on comments on posts, and then had dinner. We turned on the TV to try to catch something interesting, and stumbled on 60 Minutes, a documentary show for those who don’t know. One of the stories was about a gal from Oklahoma who had trained with some falconers in Mongolia. She took us there and while they were filming the story, they strapped a camera on one of the Golden Eagles which took flight. You literally were flying with the bird! It was so cool and awesome, seeing things from the eagle’s perspective! I could watch the footage over and over again! The TV is only over the airwaves - no satellite or cable here, and unfortunately, the signal for this channel kept coming and going. There was supposed to be a movie on after that, but we lost the signal and I gave up.
It soon will be off to bed. We’ve got such a list to accomplish tomorrow! I’m going to need my beauty rest for sure!
Thanks for stopping by! Don’t forget to keep on steppin’! Any exercise is good for you, so keep at it. Have a wonderful day wherever you are!
