I headed off to work this morning a bit early as I had some things I wanted to accomplish before everybody got there. Being the end of the year and the fact that insurances will change at the beginning of the year, I was really surprised that we were not booked. Last year, we had to turn folks down for appointments as we had squeezed in as many as we could. Not so this year; not really sure what the difference is. The day progressed nicely anyway.
I got home after errands of going to the post office, the bank, and the local grocery for a couple of needed items. We set out for the country roads hike. Tomorrow, weather permitting, which I think will be ok, we will finally get to go do the whole thing. Seems like forever since I’ve been to the mountains!
There’s not a lot going on right now; winding down of the year. I have the next 5 days off!! Another mini vacation. I think it will be filled with hiking and R&R. Maybe I’ll catch up on some much needed sleep too.
