The storm is done! I woke up about 4:30 this morning and saw that the grid lights I had left on were illuminated. That meant that the power was back on, so I got up and turned them all off. I got a drink, and promptly went back to bed!
When I got up for real the second time, I needed to eat breakfast and then work on the PowerPoint for worship tomorrow and get the music copied for the team. Upon completion, we set out for our hike.
My hero! This was our first fallen tree that needed moving before we could comfortably pass. 
I was expecting so many more downed trees than we saw, but I did take pictures along the way of the trees that were not originally on our trail.
None of the new trees were what I would call super big by any shot. However, most will need a chainsaw to take care of them.
Whereas it was 60 degrees last night, Mother Nature, had indeed found her senses and returned us to more normal temperatures. Unfortunately for us, it was 20+ degrees cooler now than last evening! The wind had slowed down quite a bit, but it was still breezy. It also seemed much colder than the thermometer indicated. Fortunately for us, the hike includes a lot of hills that will get your blood pumping and get you heated up pretty quick.
This fir tree was about 10-12" in diameter, and was snapped off as if it were a much smaller twig!
Upon completion of our hike, it was time to load up the car and head to church for worship team practice. Three out of four expected members of the team showed up plus our sound gal, but tomorrow we could find ourselves with 1 to 3 additional members who didn’t bother to come to practice. That is a challenge we face, but I’m sure it will all work out.
We finished that and came home; watched a little Netflix, and soon will be headed off to bed. Tomorrow morning will come soon enough. That’s gonna be it for tonight.
