Hey everyone and thanks for stopping by!
Tuesday is ladies Bible study so off I set this morning to go. I really enjoy this study and this group of ladies.
Upon returning home it was time for lunch and a little relaxing before heading out for the hike. It was a beautiful sunny day but fairly chilly. We were noticing that portions of the trail looked like something had be aggressively foraging under the leaves. It seemed too big to be the birds plus we were finding evidence of scratch like depressions in the soil. Along this particular stretch of trail was where I had last spring’s bear encounter. It’s got me wondering if maybe it’s a newly awakened bear looking for grubs and such. The only thing is that there have been no bear scat to be found anywhere. So I’m really not sure. We’ll keep a watch out and see what happens.
There is a picnic table up at Towhee Ridge. In the cracks of the table was this little lichen guy. If you look past the first bowl of growth, you can see other smaller ones below. Kind of cool!
This is the field up by the off grid cabin. I've tried to take the picture of the sunset before from this view, but this is the first picture I've successfully captured the little strip of water reflecting the sun, which is Bellingham Bay, some 25+ miles from where I was standing.
Afterwards, it was once again time for my favorite salted caramel and peanut butter mocha. Yum!
Dinner and a little bit of TV to round out the evening. After Steem and Actifit, it’s gonna be time for bed. Tomorrow is’ Monday’ for me at work so I’m planning on getting there a wee bit early to get a head start on the day’s business.
That’s gonna be it for now.
Thanks for stopping by! Don’t forget to keep on steppin’! Any exercise is good for you so keep at it. Have a good day wherever you are!😎👍💪
