By the time I went to bed last night... I was already feeling sore. How in the world did I get so sore? I don’t think I over did things yesterday?!?! Welp, maybe I did??? Even Mama Splatts was making fun of me. “Really?!? Your that sore after one time to the gym” As I grunt and groan just to get out of bed. There is no way that my age is beginning to catch up to me... no way!!
I did a bunch of stretching between sets. I stretched before I got on the elliptical and after. Stretch stretch stretch!!
- 1 mile Elliptical Machine approx 10 minutes
- Curls (curl bar) 65lbs 10 X 5
- Military Press 20 lbs Dumbbells 10 X
- Pull-Ups 5 X 5
- Lunges holding 20 lb dumbbells 20 X 5 (alternating legs)
- 5 minutes on Row Machine resistance 8
I am really liking the combination of some cardio and weights. Use the cardio to get the blood pumpin’, the. Hit the weights a bit. Finally push through the end of the workout with a little more cardio.
Working through the soreness is easier said than done. I honestly feel like I can’t even lean over and if I squat down I won’t be able to get up. HAHAHA Now that of funny right there!!
