I've been on an arty/businesses mode lately and I'm not really sure why. But since I'm so motivated at the moment I figured I might as well keep rolling with it.
While I was doing my research on Shopify vs Etsy I stumbled across POD (print on demand) and drop shipping.
Basically, you provide the art work and they do the rest. That means they take care of sourcing base products to print on, as well as the ink; they print the design, pack it and then ship it to the customer.
It's actually pretty awesome if you think about it.
As a small business owner there's a lot of things (and time) involved in getting a product made, packed and shipped. To have it all done for me is simply amazing! If only I could outsource half of what I do.
Initially I just wanted my art work printed on canvas so I could keep my originals but as I sifted through POD websites I thought why limit myself?
Long story short...
I decided on Redbubble because they had the biggest range of base products.
And I had to edit my work digitally and transform it into something that would "repeat" seamlessly, so I turned them into fractal or mandalas as called them.
I took inspiration from gemstones when naming the designs. I figured it fit in well with the mandalas and the super energetic vibe the designs give out.
There's 3 variations per master image because I couldn't decide on just 1.
Here's what I've uploaded to my shop so far.

Gotta admit, it's kinda awesome seeing my art work in print. The feels never gets old.
Unfortunately these designs aren't t-shirt friendly and I'll be working on another collection just for shirts mainly because I want clothes for Bella.
What do you guys think?!!
