Dino S'mores - Off Color Brewing
Beer Review
Dino S'mores is a 10.5% alcohol/volume Imperial Milk/Sweet Stout made by Off Color Brewing in Chicago, Illinois. Off Color Brewing is a small craft brewer that began in 2014. Dino S'mores is a collaboration with Amager Bryghus and West Lakeview Liquors. When Off Color Brewing launched, BorrachaBaker made s'mores shaped like dinosaurs for the launch event. This imperial stout with graham flour, marshmallow fluff, vanilla, and cocoa nibs was made to honor the legendary Dino S'mores. It was the first beer I tried from Off Color Brewing and it was absolutely phenomenal.

The Bottle
The Dino S'mores comes in a 12 fluid ounce bottle. I bought it as a single at the local package store for $8.50 (pretty pricey). The label is black and white and features a little mouse wearing a dinosaur costume roasting a marshmallow over a campfire. Off Color Brewing said they chose a mouse as their mascot because it's the only mammal that's at the brewery more than the brewers themselves.
The Beer
As a s'mores lover I was very excited to try this beer. The combination of graham crackers, chocolate and marshmallows is amazing. Dino S'mores is made with graham flour, marshmallow fluff, vanilla, and cocoa nibs in an attempt to replicate the flavor of the delicious campfire treat. I was thoroughly impressed with the flavor of this stout. It was 10.5% alcohol/volume and you can hardly taste it. The flavor was complex and robust with hints of chocolate mixed with creamy marshmallow goodness. Overall I am very glad that I snagged this when I saw it. It's an outstanding beer and I look forward to trying more from Off Color Brewing.
