Today was a mid-day. So...that means practically nothing but Cardio and literally a couple of other exercises. Still. I'm feeling it, lately...so I figured I'd make it fun in what ways I can risk it.
Bike(Cardio): 30 minutes, level 9-11 difficulty, starting at 9 and adding 1 difficulty level every 10 minutes. I maintained an average of 92 RPM with relative ease, maintaining 2 straight minutes in the final 10 at 120+ RPM. The period leading up to this was electrifying. I kept watching that RPM climb. Sometimes by jumps of 3, sometimes crawling with 1, sometimes by as much as 5, by. The. Second. I forgot for a couple tens of seconds that I was at the highest difficulty I've ever managed when I peaked at 120-123 RPM.
3-finger Fingertip pushups: I managed 5, and then my fingers failed me for the split-second it took for me to fall, so I broke the fall with the upper segment of my forehead, bounced off of that, and resumed my stance. Which led into...
5-finger Fingertip pushups: 50, no breaks, no difficulties, no more surprise headstands.
Back raises (Draping self over bench, 45 lb plate clasped to chest, and straightening using back muscles): 30 reps. This one was tougher for me this time...but oh well. Breathing was tougher for me at this stage.
Weighted sit-ups: 45 lbs, 30 reps, no breaks.
Incline Elliptical: Level 10, 30 minutes.
Tonight's diddy, I actually stumbled upon trawling for musics idly. I'm still taking it in, not sure how I feel about it. But for the "return to base" periods of the cardio machines, it stimulated me enough to keep me from falling off the machine. Plus? Plus.
Oh who am I kidding. Tonight, there was no danger of that. Now the past few nights...definitely. Anyway! "Run For Your Life", by The Seige.
