Romantic night in...
Okay, not so romantic.
I sprained my ankle last night. Teaching circus.
NO I WASNT DOING ANYTHING COOL. I was helping a student and tripped on a mat.
All my street cred as a beautiful and graceful aerialist...out the window!
If you've read my other posts you'll see I'm dripping in positivity (thanks mom for believing in me, ugh!) SO lets not lose that over a sprained ankle. A younger me would have cried and had a melt down. 29 year old me knows what she needs-
- Called the boyfriend
- Requested chips, alcohol and permission to whine (I may even pretend to sprain it again to get this level of attention... I'm talking bedside service people!)
- I employed my qualified nurse...
And then I thanked the universe that I don't have any aerial shows for a few weeks and lots of writing to do so my ankle sprain will give some time for that...and that I had a topic for my first #comedyopenmic.
See, we're always given what we need. Or something like that.

(Open to alternative healing techniques by way of laughter....articles, videos, pictures I'll take 'em!!)
