I'm starting to think I get a kick out of creating communities.
My first one was Hi From Hive. This is for people to write a one time post about your Hive journey so you can share it with people. If you haven't written one yet and what to share your Hive experience and journey, why not do it now? Full details of what you need to do can be found here
The second community I created was Toys on Hive and it does what it says on the tin. If you have any stories about toys, collectables, lego, model you can post it from here.
My next community was for a laugh more than anything else. It's called The Loo Loo Community. In case you're wondering what this community is about, the community profile picture below may give you an idea ... Loo is a UK slang word for toilet😄. Yes I think we all need some fun in life
Remember I told you I get a kick out of creating communities? Today I created my 4th community and it's called Train Spotting. It's related to .... drum roll....... yes, you guessed correctly Trains. I've been on some pretty nice train rides and train museums in recent years, and read a few interesting train related posts, but noticed there is no train related community available on Hive. That doesn't seem right, so I figured I should make it right by creating Train Spotting. The community is literally fresh out of the oven a few hours ago and I don't even have a profile picture for it. However it's open for business if anyone wants to drop any train related posts there.
At the moment all these communities are in a passive state as I am a bit busy with my curation roles for and OCD. However, I check into them every now and then and if there are any good posts I try to get more support for them. So in case you are looking for more support for your content, here are a few communities that you could write about.
PUD Guessing Contest announcement
The January PUD Guessing Contest was to guess what I have named my new little fairy. I'm starting to think, am I getting too predictable or are my PUD guessing contests too easy? This month there were 33 entries and 11 of you guessed correctly! Great job to everyone who guessed I named her Snowpea.
All the entries can be found below. The 11 winners will share the 5 HBD prize pool, let's make it 0.5 HBD each. 7 of the winners also PUD on 1 January, so they will get a 0.5 HBD bonus. Congrats guys and gals. Finally, I want to thank for such a lovely name for my little fairy, and extra 1 HBD will be on your way as a thank you!!!
See you in the next PUD Guessing Contest next month !!!!
