Chili Salt Onion Rings
Ingredients
2 Large Onion, cut into 1 inch round
1 tablespoon Garlic Powder
1 tablespoon Salt
1/2 teaspoon Pepper Powder
3 grains Shallot, roughly chopped
4 cloves Garlic, roughly chopped
8 Cayenne
1 spring onion, chopped
Coating and Dipping
7 tablespoon Wheat Flour
2 1/2 tablespoon Cornstarch
1/2 tablespoon Garlic Powder
1/4 tablespoon Baking Powder
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1/2 teaspoon Pepper Powder
75 ml Water
Making Steps
Sprinkle Onion with garlic powder, salt and pepper, leave it about 10 minutes.
Mix all Coating ingredients in medium bowl, except water.
Dipping batter: In small bowl dissolve 2 tablespoon coating mixture flour with water.
Dip the Onion slices in to Dipping batter and roll over into coating flour, pinching the onion.
Fry until crispy and browned, drain and set aside.
Heat oil in the skillet and saute the onion and garlic until fragrant, add in chopped cayenne and seasoning with salt and pepper powder, insert the onion and spring onion, stir well about 2 minutes and off the heat.
Transfer to serving plate and ready to eat....
