Puff pastry pies are very tender, tasty and fragrant. I advise you to bake more often, children love these puffs very much. You can add cinnamon, nuts, vanilla or berries to the apple filling.
Ingredients
- 1 kg of apples;
- 180 g of sugar;
- 1½ teaspoon cinnamon;
- 50 g butter;
- 100 g cranberries - optional;
- 1 kg of puff pastry;
- 1-2 teaspoons of vegetable oil.
Cooking
Peel the apples with the peeler and seeds and cut into large cubes. Mix 2 tablespoons of sugar with ½ teaspoon of cinnamon.
Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Stew apples with berries , sugar and cinnamon remnants for 5–7 minutes. Cool.
Roll out the dough in a thin layer. Cut into small rectangles. Put the filling on half of them and cover with the rest. Fasten the edges and press down with a fork on all sides so that they do not diverge. From above, make a pair of small incisions.
Put apple pies on a baking sheet greased with vegetable oil. Sprinkle with a mixture of sugar and cinnamon. Bake for about 20 minutes at 180 ° C.
