There are so many great recipes of cupcakes. Here is my favorite one.
When I have free time and want to pamper my family, I cook these cupcakes. They are so cute and yummy!
- 4 eggs
- flour 1 cup
- sugar 1 cup
- butter 100 g
- vanilla sugar 1 tbsp.
- baking powder 1 tbsp.
- chocolate 100 g
- walnuts about 100 g
- lemon and orange peel 1 tbsp.
- ground cinnamon 1 whisper (to your liking)
- honey 1 tbsp. (to your liking)
- salt 1 whisper
Remember one trick for airy cupcakes: all the ingredients for the dough must be necessarily at room temperature!
Turn the oven on 180 ° C.
Start to prepare the dough with a good beat of soft butter and sugar. The mass should turn out to be airy and lush.
Then add eggs, salt and vanilla sugar to the bowl. Beat thoroughly.
Add the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder) and mix until a smooth batter is formed. Mix everything until smooth. Then add 1 tbsp. of lemon and orange peel, 1 whisper of cinnamon, 50 g of chopped walnuts and mix all the ingredients well again.
Bake for 18-25 minutes (depending of your oven) then remove from the oven and allow them to cool.
I like decorate cupcakes with chocolate and walnuts. Roast some of chopped walnuts on a pan for 3 minutes. Then melt the chocolate and put it on your yummy cupcakes. Decorate them with walnuts or confectionery (if you don’t like nuts).
If you can wait for 1 or 2 hours (I know, it’s hard, but we’re strong!) you’ll feel better the light taste of lemon-orange inside it and rich taste of chocolate.
