Pastry cream without sugar, egg or cow's milk (easy vegan recipe)
Ingredients
- 2 cups almond milk,
- rice or coconut
- 4 tablespoons non-caloric sweetener
- 50 grams cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon vanilla essence
- ½ orange,
- skin
PREPARATION
- COMBINE cornstarch, sugar and 3 tablespoons of the selected milk until no lumps remain.
- HEAT the rest of the vegetable milk with the orange peel in a pot until it starts to boil.
- COOK the hot vegetable milk and add the sugar mixture.
- PLACE in the pot and heat over medium heat until the cream thickens, moving constantly.
- Turn the heat OFF and add the vanilla essence. MIXTURE.
- COOL completely.
