En estos tiempos difíciles que estamos viviendo producto de la dinámica permanente de la vida, los cambios imprevistos, constantes y continuos hacen que tengamos un compañero al cual no podemos evitar y este compañero es el llamado ESTRÉS. El que nos prepara para la acción, nos impulsa a realizar actividades diarias, a través de una serie de cambios físicos y psicológicos que ocurren en nosotros como consecuencia de la exposición por los agentes estresores y amenazantes en nuestra día a día. Muchos hablamos de “reinventarnos“y se escucha bien, pero la pregunta es y ¿CÓMO LO HAGO? ... Que hacer con estas emociones y sentimientos de tristeza, rabia, impotencia y miedo que siento, cómo superar la frustración, ese cambio de vida para el que no me prepare. La vida es una montaña rusa en la que estás arriba, abajo o de cabeza..., la aceptación, el autoconocimiento y por supuesto la confianza en Dios, son caminos adecuados para vivir estos días difíciles y Si hay que decirlo, ¡son difíciles!

Cuando las situaciones se tornan agudas y nos cambian hasta la forma de respirar, por ejemplo un accidente, un hecho de violencia, un atraco, un choque automovilístico, violencia intrafamiliar, bullying a nivel laboral, esto genera una sensación de alarma que se percibe como amenazante.

___ ___ ># Como diferenciar el estrés positivo del distrès negativo

El estrés positivo es situacional, lo sientes cuando está presente el estímulo, por ejemplo (entregar el trabajo en la universidad, presentar un examen, divorcio, enfermedad, etc.) tus mecanismos de defensa lo reconocen y te permiten actuar, su tiempo es breve. No amerita tratamiento farmacológico, solo requiere que reorientes y planifiques tus actividades como: priorizar, jerarquizar, delegar, postergar situaciones o momentos para su manejo oportuno. Por lo tanto, el estrés positivo es beneficioso, sobre todo porque cuando ya el estresor se supera, el organismo regresa a su estado natural no originando enfermedades, claro está, la consecuencia va a depender del órgano débil (vulnerable) de la persona. ># Cuando el distres se vuelve crónico en el tiempo de 6 meses continuo o más, ¿Qué va a pasar cuando aparece?, y me somete crónicamente en el tiempo.

Se presenta cuando no hay relación entre la carga y la resistencia, sobrepasa tu capacidad de respuesta, te quedas sin recursos para la resolución de problemas. El organismo se cansa, por la carga tan importante de estresores que hacen que nos debilitemos, porque el estímulo es progresivo y lento, su inicio es continuo y con sufrimiento y entonces se presenta la enfermedad psicosomática relacionada como la ansiedad y depresión.

En este sentido, se hace muy necesario manejar, controlar el estrés que es inevitable y forma parte de la vida para evitar que este distress sume enfermedades metabólicas como la diabetes, hipertensión, arritmias, palpitaciones, problemas de obesidad, cáncer, problemas de la piel, inmunológicos.

Estar en conocimiento el estrés te impulsa a realizar actividades diarias Que nuestro organismo secreta una serie de sustancias como catecolaminas y el llamado cortisol, quienes nos preparan para la acción y para la huida. El estrés definitivamente es positivo porque nos va a permitir a reaccionar, a tomar las medidas para resolver, para enfrentar ese estímulo que es amenazante y no solo nos va a permitir sobrevivir, sino que podamos adaptarnos. Reforzar tu sistema de creencias ***(códigos ideológicos programados)*** en lo que crees, creas y, de como estás formado en valores y principios por situaciones vividas anteriormente.

Tener claro que cuando estos estímulos te exponen de manera crónica y persistente se desencadenan cambios fisiológicos en tu organismo y puedes enfermar.

Que el organismo se agote ***(Burnout)*** por la carga tan importante de estresores que hacen que se debilite y aquí si se puede presentar la llamada enfermedad psicosomática relacionada por el estrés, como la ansiedad y depresión.

Depende de cuáles recursos internos tienes para enfrentarlo. Como percibes, el estímulo que varía de una persona a otra. Cuál es el sentido propio *(de pertenencia)* que tienes de la vida. Capacidad de resolución de los problemas *(tus habilidades, y destrezas)* Establecer buenas relaciones interpersonales, sé selectivo con las personas que nutren de manera positiva tu vida.

Adecuado control del pensamiento. Cambia los pensamientos negativos por pensamientos positivos, de alegría y esperanza. Utiliza el buen sentido del humor y rodéate de personas positivas que aporten solución a tus problemas. Enfócate en la solución y no en el problema. Decide el cambio y aprende a fijar tus límites. Aprende a decir NO. Lleva un estilo de vida saludable y si está en tus posibilidades realiza actividades físicas. Decide el cambio, establece tus límites, NO te postergues. Busca un estilo de recreación agradable, el café, cigarro, alcohol, dulces, azúcar activan el estrés. De tus rasgos emocionales, depende que pueda desarrollar un compromiso claro contigo y con los demás.
