***22 de mayo de 2026, Freewriters Community Daily Writing Prompt Día 3111: Puntuación perfecta.*** Hoy es viernes y acá en Argentina comienza un fin de semana largo. Desde temprano se siente otro ambiente en la calle. Hay gente pensando en descansar, otros haciendo planes, algunos preparando un viaje corto y muchos simplemente felices porque van a poder dormir un poco más y desconectarse de la rutina por unos días. Y mientras veía todo ese movimiento cotidiano, me puse a pensar en algo muy sencillo: a veces uno cree que la vida se trata de tener todo bajo control, de hacer las cosas perfectas o de sentir que siempre va avanzando al ritmo que quisiera. Pero la realidad es otra. La mayoría de las personas anda por la vida resolviendo como puede, tratando de mantenerse firme aun cuando por dentro carga cansancio, preocupaciones o situaciones que nadie imagina. Por eso, cuando leí el tema de hoy, Perfect Score, no pensé en notas perfectas ni en ganar siempre. Pensé en algo mucho más real y cotidiano: en todas esas personas que, aun con problemas, miedos y días difíciles, igual se levantan cada mañana y siguen adelante. Uno entra a las redes sociales y ve viajes, sonrisas, metas cumplidas, cuerpos perfectos y vidas aparentemente ordenadas. Pero detrás de muchas de esas imágenes también existen preocupaciones, cuentas por pagar, cansancio, discusiones familiares, nostalgia, ansiedad y personas haciendo un enorme esfuerzo simplemente para no derrumbarse. Y la verdad es que la vida cotidiana casi nunca es perfecta. Hay días en los que uno se despierta motivado y con ganas de comerse el mundo, pero también hay otros donde cuesta levantarse de la cama. Días donde el trabajo pesa más de lo normal, donde la cabeza no deja de pensar, donde extrañamos a alguien o donde sentimos que todo avanza más lento de lo que quisiéramos. Y aun así, seguimos caminando. Creo que muchas veces nos exigimos demasiado. Sentimos que tenemos que resolverlo todo rápido, tener respuestas para todo y demostrar que podemos con cualquier situación. Pero con el tiempo uno entiende que nadie tiene una vida perfecta. Todos cargamos algo. Algunos llevan dolores silenciosos, otros incertidumbre, otros miedo al futuro y muchos simplemente están agotados física y emocionalmente, aunque sigan sonriendo. Lo veo mucho acá en Argentina. Gente trabajando horas extras, padres haciendo esfuerzos enormes por sus hijos, madres sosteniendo hogares enteros, migrantes tratando de comenzar de cero lejos de su tierra, personas mayores luchando con sus achaques y jóvenes intentando encontrar su lugar en el mundo. Y lo más admirable es que, aun sin tener una “puntuación perfecta” en la vida, siguen adelante. Siguen luchando, soñando y haciendo lo mejor que pueden con lo que tienen. Yo mismo, como tantos otros, también he entendido que la vida no se trata de hacerlo todo perfecto. A veces simplemente se trata de resistir, de mantener la fe y de no rendirse. Hay días donde el corazón pesa más que de costumbre, donde los recuerdos aparecen sin avisar o donde el cansancio se siente hasta en el alma. Pero incluso en esos días, uno sigue avanzando porque sabe que hay personas por las cuales vale la pena seguir luchando. Y quizás allí está el verdadero “Perfect Score” de la vida. No en no equivocarse. No en aparentar perfección. No en tener siempre todo resuelto. Sino en seguir adelante aun cuando las cosas no salen como esperábamos. En levantarse otra vez después de una caída. En seguir trabajando, soñando y creyendo aunque el panorama no siempre sea fácil. Por eso hoy valoro más a las personas auténticas, a las que siguen adelante aun con miedo, cansancio o dificultades, porque allí es donde realmente se demuestra la fortaleza. Tal vez nunca tengamos una puntuación perfecta en esta vida, pero mientras sigamos levantándonos cada día con ganas de continuar, de amar y de luchar por quienes queremos, creo que ya estamos haciendo muchísimo más de lo que imaginamos. Since early this morning, you can already feel a different atmosphere in the streets. Some people are thinking about resting, others are making plans, some are preparing for a short trip, and many are simply happy because they will finally get to sleep a little longer and disconnect from the routine for a few days. And while watching all that everyday movement, I started thinking about something very simple: sometimes we believe life is about having everything under control, doing things perfectly, or feeling like we are always moving at the pace we want. But reality is very different. Most people go through life solving things the best they can, trying to stay strong even while carrying exhaustion, worries, or situations nobody else can see. That is why, when I read today’s prompt, Perfect Score, I did not think about perfect grades or always winning. I thought about something much more real and everyday: all those people who, despite problems, fears, and difficult days, still wake up every morning and keep moving forward. You open social media and see trips, smiles, goals achieved, perfect bodies, and seemingly organized lives. But behind many of those images there are also worries, bills to pay, exhaustion, family arguments, nostalgia, anxiety, and people making an enormous effort just to keep themselves from falling apart. And the truth is that everyday life is almost never perfect. There are days when we wake up motivated and ready to take on the world, but there are also days when simply getting out of bed feels difficult. Days when work feels heavier than usual, when the mind will not stop thinking, when we miss someone, or when we feel that everything is moving slower than we hoped. And even so, we keep walking forward. I believe that many times we demand too much from ourselves. We feel like we must solve everything quickly, have answers for everything, and prove that we can handle any situation. But over time, we realize that nobody has a perfect life. We all carry something. Some carry silent pain, others uncertainty, others fear about the future, and many are simply physically and emotionally exhausted even while continuing to smile. I see it a lot here in Argentina. People working extra hours, fathers making huge sacrifices for their children, mothers holding entire households together, migrants trying to start over far from their homeland, elderly people struggling with their aches and pains, and young people trying to find their place in the world. And the most admirable thing is that, even without having a “perfect score” in life, they keep going. They continue fighting, dreaming, and doing the best they can with what they have. I myself, like so many others, have also learned that life is not about doing everything perfectly. Sometimes it is simply about enduring, keeping faith, and refusing to give up. There are days when the heart feels heavier than usual, when memories appear without warning, or when exhaustion reaches deep into the soul. But even on those days, we continue moving forward because we know there are people worth fighting for. And maybe that is where the real ***“Perfect Score”*** in life truly exists. Not in never making mistakes. Not in pretending to be perfect. Not in always having everything figured out. But in continuing to move forward even when things do not go the way we expected. In getting up again after falling. In continuing to work, dream, and believe even when the road is not easy. Maybe we will never achieve a perfect score in this life, but as long as we continue waking up each day willing to move forward, to love, and to fight for the people we care about, I think we are already doing far more than we realize.
