今日は精神科の通院日でした。暑さが続いてやる気を出すのが大変というと先生が「地震、豪雨、そして猛暑と自然にやられてるね」と言いました。でも処方に変わりはありませんでした。 ところで今日行ったクリニックはいわゆる「鉾町」にあります。鉾町というのは祇園祭に鉾や山が立つ町のことです。今日は祇園祭の後祭の山鉾巡行の日でした。クリニックには少し早く着いたのでちょうど山が巡行に出かけるところを見ることができました。

上の動画は函谷鉾（かんこぼこ）の祇園囃子を録画したものです。 ガイドブックとかには7/14から7/16までが宵山と書いてあるのが多いのですが、7/14を宵々々山（よいよいよいやま）、7/15を宵々山（よいよいやま）、7/16を宵山（よいやま）と、１日ずつ呼び方を変えているものもあります。ここでは後者を採用します。

（写真はすべて私が撮影しました） さて祇園祭です。前回組み立てていた鉾は出来たかなあと様子を見に行きました。 まず、山鉾巡行の時は必ず先頭に立つ長刀鉾（なぎなたほこ）。へ。しかし、鉾は完成しているものの、なんかまだ作業していますね……。 鉾の手前には何やら行列が。 とりあえず長刀鉾はまだ準備中のようでしたので、他の鉾も見て回ることにしました。 これは鶏鉾（にわとりほこ）です。 別の角度からもどうぞ。

（写真はすべて私の撮影です） 今日は通院日でした。既に昨日から祇園祭に伴う交通規制が始まっていたので、私がいつも通院しているクリニックの最寄りのバス停は使えなくなっていました。やむを得ず１つ手前のバス停で降りました。 降りてみると既に祇園祭の鉾建てが進んでいました。これは函谷鉾（かんこぼこ）を組み立てているところです。

写真は昨年(2016年)私が撮影した函谷鉾です。 さて、7月は京都では祇園祭の月であります。なにしろ7月1日から7月31日まで１カ月通して様々な祭礼や神事が行われるのですから、京都という所はとんでもない所ですね（笑）。
