Making a - new, favourite - summer hat intuitively and spontaneously!

Ciao dearest Needlwork friends - I've had an intensive period of sewing this week, as I was travelling by train to the north of the country (Italy) and spent a lot of the journey - and the 5 days away

A new pocket - waiting in the wings for years! - added to my favourite handmade bag

now I can *really* appreciate the early struggle and how it was worth the discomfort, to get to this up-levelled skill.

If I am so happy in my clothing, then this should radiate out as gift to the collective - in subtle / less subtle ways.

I am making this special red dress, for my growing belly, out of a fitted sheet and pillow case: it's just taking shape
