As you may know Magic Dice organizers seem to have disappeared completely, with approximately 190,000 USD of capital from the users. _(Source: [@themarkymark](https://steemit.com/magicdice/@themarkymark/magic-dice-exit-scam))_ I suppose the use of Smart Contracts – depositing the cryptocurrency in the blockchain until certain requisites are complied – would have the advantage to avoid such cases. Because:
“A smart contract is a computer protocol intended to digitally facilitate, verify, or enforce the negotiation or performance of a contract. Smart contracts allow the performance of credible transactions without third parties.” _([Source](https://blockgeeks.com/guides/smart-contracts/))_
That means, organizers could renounce to store values, until a rolling round is over, and only cash-in the lost amounts. Or am I wrong? Can frauds like Magic Dice be prevented?
