This is a movie I saw when I was only about 13 years old. And, it stuck in my memory. A lot has to do with how shocking the story is. Also because, after watching it, it led me to think about why it had that ending. I'm one of those who thinks a lot about things and until I didn't understand it, I wasn't going to stop analyzing the details. That allowed me to understand many things.

Perhaps for the Latino community the subject of terrorism is not as shocking, at least not as much as for Americans or Europeans, but this is a movie worth watching and enjoying.

As an additional detail, I would like to mention that some time after watching the movie, I wanted to watch it again to see other details, but since I had seen it on a TV channel, and I did not remember the name, it was very complicated for me. Una de las cosas que más disfruto en las películas es la originalidad. Es decir, que tengan cosas diferentes a las demás. Y esta cumple con ello de muchas maneras.

Música. Fue realizada por Angelo Badalamenti. Consigue envolver al espectador gracias a su utilización acertada, sobre todo en los momentos de mayor tensión.

Suspenso. De esto hay, y mucho. A medida que la película se va desarrollando, y sobre todo llegando al final, el suspenso y la intriga hacen que no se pueda quitar la vista de ella.

Dirección. Mark Pellington, quien se destaca por encima de todo como director de series para televisión, se encargó de poner en su lugar cada detalle de esta historia, para ayudarnos a entender cada punto de manera paulatina.

También porque, luego de verla, me llevó a pensar en por qué tenía ese final. Soy de los que piensa mucho las cosas y hasta no entenderla no iba a dejar de analizar los pormenores. Eso me permitió entender muchas cosas.

Quizás para la comunidad latina no es tan impactante el tema del terrorismo, al menos no tanto como para los estadounidenses o europeos, pero esta es una película que vale la pena ver.

Como detalle adicional, quiero mencionar que algún tiempo después de ver la película, quise verla otra vez para reparar en otros detalles, pero como la había visto en un canal de televisión, y no recordaba el nombre, se me hizo muy complicado. En internet buscaba películas con una sinopsis similar, escribía parte de la trama o cosas así. Y por fin, después de 17 años, la encontré otra vez.
