Met up with and nudged her to do her come-back post. Was telling her how my soup post yesterday is doing well. I'm happy she is getting back on board! Looking forward to more posts about Julian, Malaysia's First Olympic Figure Skating champion and also about herself
Left to her post, I continued with my mommy duty. Feeling accomplished, I was inspired to cook. Went to a nearby sundry shop and picked out items for today's lazymom dinner. This is also very easy to make. The ingredients and methods are similar to the old cucumber soup recipe which I posted yesterday.
Radish Soup
1 x radish
1 x carrot, for the colour
1 x chicken thigh (remove skin)
1 x honeyed date
Red dates, about 6
Goji berries, a handful
Method:
- Boil the thigh to remove excess fat making the soup much less oily. Drain the water.
- Boil a fresh pot of water.
- When the water starts to boil, place all the ingredients in.
- Boil for 1 hour on low heat.
