Sate is a very popular food for people in Indonesia. Foods made from meat by means of roasting is derived from various meats. Like chicken, goat, cow and other animals. Each region, of course has its own satay dishes, including taste according to the tongue of the community.
Like Aceh, it has its own distinctive and different from other regions such as Padang and Java. Sate Aceh, more often use goat or cow materials and added sauce to eat with rice.
The famous Sate Aceh today is 'Sate Matang', probably because of the origin of the area that originally sold this satay. But now the sate has been sold almost all areas in Aceh. Similar to Java or Padang satay, in the area of origin is certainly not put the name of the area behind him. So also with 'Sate Matang', but more use the name of each owner.
For example, now 'Sate Apaleh' is very well known in Aceh. The location of the shop in Geurogok District, Bireun, Aceh. Almost every day Geurogok market location filled with visitors vehicles. This is certainly because of taste Sate Apaleh for us want to add rice. So for you who are on the way from Medan to Banda Aceh, or vice versa, there is no harm in trying this typical culinary Aceh.
