I just finished a 21.571km cycling that lasted about 0hh:57mm:41ss !
I Blame Steem!!!
Most people would have a nice week off, but need to get back to logging my rides and runs on Steem and Exhaust.
I finally got my new power meter going which finally answered one important questions I have been trying to find out for the past 3 years.
Trust me, the internet has no real information on the difference in power between riding a road bike and a mountain bike and I finally got some clearer information today.
Strava provides a calculated "Average Power" for each ride, but this usually stays consistent and would never change, but having the new power meter running on the mountain bike, I was able to clearly see the difference between the two.
I knew the mountain bike was harder work as my perceived effort and heart rate are always higher. For my ride today, Strava calculated my average power as 127 watts. My new Arofly Power Meter calculated my average power at 174 watts.
Hopefully this means I am getting a better training benefit from using the mountain bike on my commute as well.
I'll have a full review on the Arofly Power Meter in the next week or two.
