Bisaya is a term used to call the language or people from Visayas, a region in the Philippines. The dish presented here is usually cooked in this part of the country.
This has got to be one of the easiest and quickest meals anyone can make. There are only two main ingredients. The meat and the soy sauce. However, it's very very tasty.
Ingredients:
1/2 kilo tenderloin cut into your desired size
3/4 cup soy sauce for the marinade
4 cloves crushed garlic
1 big onion cut to make rings
1/4 cup oil for frying
Water (for sauce, can be adjusted. Start with 1 cup)
2 tbsp cornstarch if you want a thicker consistency for the sauce
Sesame seeds (optional)
Procedure
Marinate the garlic with the soy sauce and garlic. Mix well together. Leave it for about 10 minutes.
In a pan, fry over low to medium heat and wait for the sides to turn brown
Flip over
Make sure both sides are cooked well. You can do multiple flips. Place the cooked meat on a paper towel to drain the excess oil. Cook the next batch until all are done.
Put all the cooked meat back into the pan and and add soy sauce and water. You can add the cornstarch here for better a thicker consistency.
Add the onion rings for better flavor. Leave some for garnishing.
Serve. You can also add sesame seeds on top.
