I had the very last bit of the humongous courgette for breakfast this morning. It was the courgette I mentioned in this post about berries and, yes, I had dinner for breakfast :). I figured rather than overeat, why not leave some for the following day eh?

So, how large was this courgette exactly? I know some of you have seen large ones in your time, especially if you buy your fruit and veg from farmers' markets. This kind of large produce would have been filtered out the batch heading to supermarkets. There seems to be a size and aesthetic bracket they must adhere to if they want to be on those shelves. On the farm, on the other hand, they just present as they are.

So here's the size-up. And, yes, I'm sure there are now various jokes forming in people's heads right now. Let's hear them in the comment section :)
