Hello everyone, I've been busy this week so I hadn't had the time to sit down and upload the post, sorry for the wait. Today I'm going to give you guys our family recipe for making pancakes, it's been a while since I made them so I didn't have pictures, however the ones I chose are very similar to our recipe.
Ingredients
- 2 and a half cups of milk.
- 1 and 1/4 cups of flour.
- 3 eggs.
- 1 tablespoon of vanilla.
- 1/4 cup of sugar.
- 4 tablespoons of butter.
We put all the ingredients in the blender until the mix has no lumps. You can use a spoon or spatula to scrap down the sides so that the mix is uniform. I advise you to break the eggs on another bowl so that no egg shells fall on the mix or if the egg is rotten then it won't spoil the whole pancake mix.
Put a teaspoon of butter in a pan at medium heat. When the butter melts, swirl the pan so that it covers all the bottom. Then put 1/3 cup of pancake mix it should cover all the bottom. After about two to five minutes (when it is brown, it depends of how much the stove heats) you flip it with the help of a spatula (it's going to bubble on the pan but that is normal).
Once the pancake is ready you can spread your filling of choice and roll it to eat it. I tend to eat them with sugar and butter (not healthy but delicious) or jam. You can also use chocolate, honey or cheese if you like, some even eat it with condensed milk.
You can make them smaller and thicker if you like eating them like that. You can also beat the mix manually or with a beater if you don't have a blender. If you'll use a beater it must be at low speed to avoid making a mess.
This is everything for today, I hope you liked it and make them at home. If you have any tips for when making pancakes or another way of making them don't hesitate to leave a comment. I also wanted to ask you what recipe you'd like to read next week, something you've always wanted to make but don't know how or that every time you try it goes wrong. Goodnight :)
