Momos are basically a dish of Nepal.
Momo is to Nepal what pizza is to Italy.
But momos are also very popular in Himachal pradesh.You can find a momo stall in every 15 minute distance in Himachal pradesh.
Momo is basically a dumpling stuffed with veggies.
You can also stuff it with meat,paneer etc.
You can make different kinds of momos.You can fry them,you can grill them,you can also make tandoori momos.
But here i am going to tell you that how can you make easiest and yummiest momos at your home.
For momos you need-
1.All purpose flour(maida)
2.Ajinomoto
3.cabagge/cauliflower(finely grated)
4.Crushed nutrella
5.Finely chopped onions
- Ginger garlic paste
- Asetofodia(hing)
8.Salt
9.Red chilli powder
Recipie-
Firstly kneed a dough of all purpose flour and keep it aside.Also do not forget to cover your dough with a wet cloth so that it doesn't get hard.
Next squeeze your grated cabbage/cauliflower with a cloth as much as possible.
Next put your crushed nutrella in warm water for some time then squeeze.
Now take a big bowl put both of your veggies in that bowl.
Next add onions,ginger garlic paste,ajinomoto,salt,red chilli powder and mix well.
Now make small rolls of your dough and make small chapattis with them.
Put your stuffing in the chapatti then close your chapatti in whatever shape you like.
Then take a stemer and steam your dumplings and enjoy it with red chutney.
