Hello friends! This cold afternoon in my city (it has rained a lot) is ready to prepare a warm basil cake (if basil) really is a fairly rich variant of conventional cake and simple preparation, besides requiring few ingredients.
The ingredients are:
- 100 gr of Sugar.
- 150 gr of wheat flour with leavening.
- 2 eggs
- Vanilla essence (to taste).
- 100 grams of butter
- 1/4 water rate.
- Basil to taste (at least two long branches).
Preparation:
To start we put the water with the sugar and the basil branches to boil without beating at any time (bone is only placed in the pot and put over medium heat), when this caramel point is turned off and reserved (remember also that you must preheat the oven, depends on the oven flame could be at 160 ° and 180 °).
On the other hand butter and eggs are placed in the blender at medium speed (cream). In addition, the flour is sifted.
Once the homogeneous mixture without lumps is appreciated, add the vanilla and caramel that we made with the basil. A floured and buttered mold is prepared (if you wish, you can sprinkle a little with sugar or a little, otherwise the cake burns). Then add the flour little by little and let it beat for about 10 minutes.
Once ready the mixture is taken to the oven for 30-40 minutes.
