Cranberry protein squares
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup raw almonds;
- 1/2 cup of raw walnuts;
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon;
- 1/4 teaspoon of sea salt;
- 1/2 cup raisins;
- 1 cup of grated cranberrys;
- 1 tablespoon of unsweetened apple puree;
- 1 tablespoon melted coconut oil;
- 1 teaspoon of finely grated lemon zest.
Preparation
Put the nuts, cinnamon and salt in the food processor and grind until a more or less homogeneous mass forms. Then add raisins and again grind everything.
Spread a large bowl of grated cranberries, a mixture of nuts and raisins, apple sauce, coconut oil, lemon zest and mix thoroughly. Transfer the carrot-nut mixture to a small baking sheet or tray, covered with baking paper, and squeeze well. You send it to the freezer for an hour and cut it into small squares.
