How to prepare my Special Chicken Afritada (#004 )
Ingredients
1 kilo chicken, cut into serving pieces
200 grams tomato sauce
1 large potato, quartered
1 large bell pepper, sliced
1 large carrot, sliced
1 medium size tomato, sliced
4 cloves garlic, minced
4 pieces medium size hotdogs, sliced
4 pieces loaf bread (toasted then grind up in a blender)
1 medium onion, diced
1 cup water
1 teaspoon fish sauce
1 teaspoon soy sauce
3/4 cup UFC banana catsup
1 tablespoon granulated white sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
2 pieces bay leaves
Instructions
- Pour-in cooking oil in a cooking pot or casserole then apply heat.
- Pan-fry the chicken until the color turns light brown (about 15 minutes then set aside).
- On the same cooking pot, sauté garlic, onions and tomato.
- Mix the pan-fried chicken, water, hotdog, tomato sauce, carrots, potato, bay leaves, toasted and grind loaf bread, bell pepper, green peas, salt, fish sauce, sugar, and ground black pepper then set aside for 20 minutes.
- Simmer for 25 to 30 minutes, stir occassionally.
- Serve with steamed rice. Share and enjoy!
