Today I would love to share one of my favourite dish--deep fried tofu
You may always see it in Malaysia or other Asian restaurant with different dipping sauce or toppings..The one I love most is this chili garlic seasoning...because it keeps the crispness of the tofu and adds many different layers of flavour for you to explore..
Let s cook it! Or order it:)
Cut tofu in about 3cm cubes, roll it in cornflour and egg mix and cornflour again...like how to coat chicken nuggets.. and heat wok ,add oil for deep frying.
When the oil is heated to at least 350 f degrees, gently add tofu pieces one by one into the wok.
stirring occasionally until it is golden on both sides.
Stir fry some homemade chili with mashed garlics until it is brown and mix in chopped spring onion, chicken powder ,red pepper powder and garlic salt.... put it all over the tofu...it is to be served while hot!
it s crisp and golden outside and white &soft inside!
