I am at a hairdresser salon, waiting to get my hair dyed. Instead of listening to what women say (favorite color for nails, lovers, ex-lovers, bla-bla), I am dreaming to my breakfast I had today.
This one is one of my favorite: pain perdu - friganele - french toast.
Ingredients:
Baguette
2-3 eggs
Milk
Vanilla extract
Butter
Cream cheese
Strawberries
Maple syrup
- Beat the eggs with milk.
- Soak the bread slices into the mixture.
- Melt the butter in a frying pan, then add the bread. Cook it until it’s brown-golden.
- Serve it with cream cheese or ricotta or mascarpone.
