Many people says that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but often it is the one to be skipped. Why? well the answer is common lack of time.
In the morning we normally get into rush routines, go to work, get ready the kids to go to school and you’ve got no time to mess up with the kitchen and cooking, but it doesn’t means that we can’t find a simple recipe. There are plenty easy and quick one, like this time I’m gonna share, Waffles recipe! you can even make smoothies at the same time while Waffles is being cook in the Waffle’s maker.
I’m pretty sure the internet or any cookbooks has a lot of Waffles recipe, and the ingredients is not that difficult to find, I bet most of you already have them in your pantry!
Ingredients:
- 2 Cups Flour
- 3 Tbsp of Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 1/2 Tsp Salt
- 2 Tsp Baking Powder
- 1 1/2 Cups Milk
- 1 Tsp Vanilla
- 1/4 Cup Butter
Instructions:
In a bowl, get ready the dry ingredients, Put them together, whisk the flour, salt, and baking powder.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs, sugar, vanilla and butter.
- Add in milk to the egg mixture.
- Mix the dry ingredients into the egg mixture, mix well until become smooth batter.
- Let the mixture sit for about 5 minutes (while getting ready the iron)
Last, pour the batter onto the hot iron, and cook until golden brown.
Serve topped with Strawberry or any kind fruits you like, and maple syrup or whipped cream.
