As you know, spring is a season of first fresh vegetables in a new year. You can cook, eat and enjoy fresh spring dish, especially salads. They contain a lot of vitamins, which we need after long winter. I was waiting for this time from previous autumn.
That’s why let’s cook this easy and light salad. If you are very busy or don’t like cooking this recipe is for you!
This salad will cheer you up! It’ll give you energy but ain’t many calories. Trust me, all day long you will in a good mood after eating tasty light and fresh salad.
Ingredients:
Some cabbage
1-2 cucumbers
1-2 tomatoes
Green onion (to your liking)
Herbs (dill, parsley) (to your liking)
Pumpkin seeds or sesame
Juice of half a lemon
Olive oil or vegetable oil you like
Salt
Pepper
Chop some cabbage, cucumbers, tomatoes, green onion and herbs. Mix all ingredients in a bowl.
Then add some dressing for salad. In a bowl mix olive oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper. I like to add ½ teaspoon of honey. Then add the dressing in a bowl with salad. Mix all ingredients well.
