"You look pretty the most when you are cooking"
I recognize that in a relationship, when a woman cooks for a man, it shows genuine appreciation. It shows (at least from the man’s point of view) that you genuinely care for him as much as his mom.
I think cooking skill is essential in our life, no matter what gender is. Because all of us need food to survive and better is that something we eat is good food, right? We should learn to cook, just basic skill is fine. Don’t think like cooking is a female obligation and responsibility and we have to do that because we are women. This doesn’t sound fun, does it? Of course there’s nothing to enjoy about being pressured to do something. Just cook for yourself fisrt and after that for others, especially for the one we love. It will be more enjoyable.
Also, if you expect your boyfriend to open doors for you, pay for dates and hand over his jacket to you when you are feeling cold, then you shouldn’t be surprised if he asks you to cook.
After all, if you expect him to be a gentleman, you should be a lady, and take care of your man. ^^
